What everything costs

What final-expense and life leads actually cost an agent on Legacy Path. Your bill has three parts and nothing else: what the ad platform charges you, what those leads cost us to route and verify, and what you pay us for the platform and the marketing.

The first two we don’t touch. The third is our business. Everything is listed below.

This list is complete. Nothing that does not appear on this page will ever appear on your bill.

Last updated 09/2026

1. Ad spend — you pay the platform directly

Your advertising account is yours. Your card funds it. The ad platform bills you.

We never handle your ad money at all. There is nothing for us to mark up, no percentage to take off the top, and nothing for you to reconcile against our word — the platform’s own billing is the record.

We build and run the advertisement. You pay for the advertising. Those are different things and we keep them that way.

2. Per-lead costs — passed through at what we pay

Charged only on a lead delivered to you. Every rate here is what our vendors charge us, with nothing added.

What it doesRate
Receives the lead from the ad platform
Delivers it into your workboard
Captures and stores the consent record
Screens against leads already generated for you
Screens against do-not-call and litigator lists
Confirms the phone number is real and reachable
Total per delivered lead$0.39

Why one number instead of six. Our vendors’ rates drop as our volume grows, and they drop at different points for different services. Publishing six fixed rates would mean charging you last month’s prices. Instead we bill the blended rate we actually paid, reconciled every month, and show you the calculation in your ledger.

When our volume grows, your rate falls. Automatically, the month it happens, without you asking.

3. Text messaging — Clear Path only

$0.0075 per message segment, plus carrier fees, at what we’re charged.

Most messages run two to three segments, so a typical message costs about $0.02. Over a full follow-up sequence that works out to roughly $0.25 to $0.35 per lead — though it varies, because sequences stop when someone replies. An engaged lead costs less than one who never answers.

Inbound replies are billed at the same rate. You’ll see the count in your statement.

Open Path follow-up runs by phone and email, which carry no per-message cost.

4. What we charge for

This is where we make our money, and we would rather you read it here than find it on a bill.

Open Path$499/month
Clear Path$899/month
Approval packets over your monthly allowance$5 each
Power dialer, single line (included on Clear Path)$89/month
Power dialer, multi-line$139/month · $49 on Clear Path
Managed phone number rotation (dialer users)$15/month, up to 20 numbers
Estate planning documentsYou earn a commission. Your client pays; we pay you.

Open Path includes 10 approval packets a month. Clear Path includes 25. Most agents never reach either.

On number rotation: carriers flag numbers that dial too heavily, and a flagged number gets answered less long before anyone notices. We decide how many numbers you need for your dial volume, watch them, and retire them before they degrade. You don’t manage this and you don’t get to under-buy it — your connect rate is the thing everything else depends on.

5. What you are never charged for

  • Leads that fail verification. About 5% of leads are screened out as duplicates, do-not-call matches, litigator matches, or unreachable numbers. They are never delivered and never billed — and we absorb the cost of screening them. That cost is ours. Screening them out is the entire point.
  • Advertisement build, creative, copy, targeting, or setup. Your subscription covers it.
  • Compliance and messaging registration, including the fees. Clear Path.
  • Your branded website and its domain. Clear Path — we buy it, we pay for it, it's yours.
  • Support, training, or account help. Ever.
  • Any percentage of your ad spend. We never see it.

6. How this list can change

  1. 1.Increases require 30 days' written notice, sent to you directly, before they can appear on any bill.
  2. 2.No change is ever retroactive. A new rate applies only to leads generated after its effective date.
  3. 3.Decreases apply immediately. If our cost drops, yours drops the same day. You do not wait out a notice period to receive a price cut.
  4. 4.Every change is logged below, permanently, with its date.
